When I read “Janice’s Reward” before posting it last month, I saw just how young I was when I wrote it. I also saw the changes I made as years went on. It is sometimes helpful to see that you’ve changed, and how continuing to write has contributed to fine tuning skills. If I remember correctly the professor hated it. I was upset then, but grateful now to see growth in my writing.
In other news Writing Day 6 – Last night, I brought up the document that I created the last time I started writing. It was so much more than I thought it was. For some of those pages, I remember exactly what I was wearing when I wrote it, on other pages – it was all brand new, I’d forgotten all about that incident, and those feelings. I guess I can say I surprised myself.
