Day 4 – Angels

It has been told to me, that when I was just a tot, my favorite thing to talk about in Sabbath School (Sunday School) was the Angels. They were my favorite thing to hear about and talk about – so much so, that even today – decades later, my teacher back then (yes she’s still alive!) still calls me her “angel girl”. I wonder if I saw angels?

I think Guardian angels are the ones I think of when I think of the word Angel. I know for sure that Angels have protected me throughout my life. When I was 7, I was walking on a beach and a wave swept me away. I would have surely drowned had it not been for god’s grace, my mother’s watchful eye and I suspect an angel or two. Then when I was 23, once again, I probably should have died, Despite being sick I continued to work. I worked until I ended up in the ICU. I’m sure angels were with me then too. Our Angels aren’t something we think about often, but they often times protect us. I’ve never had an experience where someone showed up and rescued me in the nick of time and then disappeared. You heard such stories haven’t you? If not listen to one over on .

I haven’t had any experiences like that, but I don’t know what God has in store for me! Angels are meaningful to me.

Psalm 34:7 (NKJV)

The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him,
And delivers them.
